The Aiken Center for the Arts works with area agencies, schools, and non-profit organizations to bring affordable outreach arts programs to their members.
We respond to numerous community requests for arts outreach programming and strive to partner with a host organization that is familiar the participating individuals that will be served. Each outreach opportunity is individualized to meet the needs of each group and its members. Programs can include tours of the Arts Center, one time workshops or classes that meet for several weeks.
The Arts Center has provided a series of art classes in schools to latch key sites sponsored by Public Safety as well as art educational entertainment to various groups. Many of the singing groups connected with the Arts Center are dedicated to performing at Senior Care facilities and community events.

In June of 2017, Aiken Center for the Arts held “I Spy Art and Music” Camp, a creative summer day camp for children with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), Cerebral Palsy and other physical and cognitive disabilities. This camp was free of charge to the families and allowed the participating children a place to discover their creative sides through visual arts and music.
