Youth Art Classes

YOUTH CLASSES:
We offer an excellent selection of fun and enriching youth classes and camps in many of the arts disciplines.
Taught by experience art professionals, and designed to provide individual attention and feedback, our classes
and camps are sure to educated and inspire artists of all ages. Classes run consecutively on the same day each
week. All supplies are included unless otherwise noted in the class description.

AFTERSCHOOL ART (4K – 5th grade)

Open to children in 4K – 5th grade, these sessions explore different facets of art through a variety of mediums. Each session will explore a different theme. “Famous Artists” class will center on learning about a famous artist and recreating their work. “STEAM” class explores Art with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). “Culture” class will study art in different parts of the world. “Art Movements” class will study art of three distinct periods in history.

CLAY FACE MUGS

Join us for a 3-week mini session in January on the art of the face mug. Using Red Earthenware and hand-building techniques, the student will create a functional face jug, designing their own expression and details. All supplies included. Skill level: All. Ages: 8 and up. Max students: 8.

ANIMATION – MAKE A STORY COME TO LIFE!

This 5-week course will include concept art, story board drawing & character development that will be the foundation to creating an animation story. Skill level: All. Requires bringing an iPad and stylus to the workshop. The instructor will assist in downloading a free app. Open to students in grades 5th – 8th.
