A Taste of Wine and Art

Mark your calendar for the Aiken Center for the Arts 18th Annual A Taste of Wine & Art Featuring Film event to be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017, 7:00pm-9:30pm. Back by popular demand, craft beer and award-winning California wine from the Mondavi ONEHOPE wine collection along with other spirits will return for the 2017 A Taste of Wine & Art Featuring Film event alongside food offerings from a select group of the finest restaurants and caterers in our area.

To add even more excitement, this year we have partnered with the Aiken Film Alliance to entertain our guests with a variety of film touches throughout the event to enhance the evening’s experience.

This year’s event is dedicated to the memory of one of our dearest friends,  Skipper Perry. His passion for the Aiken Center of the Arts was often demonstrated through his leadership on our Board and his hands-on volunteerism. We were honored to have his family designate the Aiken Center for the Arts as a beneficiary of donations in his memory earlier this year.

A Taste of Wine & Art Featuring Film is a much anticipated social event.  More importantly, it is a key fundraiser to support the future of the Aiken Center for the Arts. We offer a multitude of outreach and awareness programs for all ages and abilities. For the first time this year, we were able to offer an art program for individuals with special needs. We also introduced children from  6 to 14 years old to the art of cooking.  We seek to expand our programs to enhance our community. As a nonprofit organization, we depend on the generosity of our sponsors, local restaurants and caterers, patrons and volunteers for this to be a successful event.
